FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know about the Culture Network.

What is the Culture Network?

The Culture Network is a decentralized participation network designed to power music, creators, and communities through real engagement — not speculation. It exists to restore ownership to culture by aligning participation, infrastructure, and digital coordination through transparent, blockchain-secured systems.

What is RapBTC and how is it earned?

RapBTC is a participation-based digital reward within the Culture Network. It is earned exclusively through verified activity — not purchased. RapBTC is used for ecosystem access, experiences, and redemption within the network.

RapBTC follows a declining emission schedule with front-loaded distribution to support adoption. Rewards are distributed across three pools: Proof of Action (supporting users and fans), Proof of Contribution (supporting node operators), and Protocol Commitment (supporting long-term ecosystem participation). It is designed for circulation and use, not accumulation.

How does the Culture Network validate activity?

The Culture Network validates activity through its Proof-of-Action consensus mechanism:

1. Participation events are submitted by applications (such as music streaming, event attendance, content sharing, and community engagement).
2. Culture Nodes verify the authenticity of each event.
3. Rewards are distributed based on defined protocol rules.

All actions must be verifiable, timestamped, and signed. The network records all activity on the Gnodi blockchain, making it publicly auditable and governed by transparent protocol rules.

What are Culture Nodes?

Culture Nodes are the infrastructure backbone of the Culture Network. They perform three essential functions:

• Validate participation events across the network
• Process reward distribution to participants
• Support application integration with the ecosystem

Node operators are compensated through contribution-based rewards via the Proof of Contribution pool. The Gnodi blockchain serves as the settlement layer, providing transaction validation, ledger integrity, network security, and gas fee processing for all node activity.
